Looking for a specialist in CCTV drain inspection surveys? Let our experienced, qualified team take care of your project.
Drain Cam is a family-owned company specialising in CCTV drain inspections in South East Queensland. For over 25 years, Drain Cam has been performing surveys for civil and private contractors, developers, councils, engineers and household residents. In fact, we were the first company in Queensland to use a digital push camera for drain inspections.
The knowledge we’ve built through experience and ongoing improvement is the key to our reputation. It’s our dedicated people and expert systems that allow us to efficiently deliver our service.
We understand the time-sensitive nature of development, which is why we go above and beyond to ensure you get the data you need, when you need it.
Drain Cam was founded in 1992 by Peter Spring. Peter has over fifty years’ experience working in the plumbing and pipeline inspection industries, bringing a wealth of technical and project management knowledge to the team.
He is joined by his son, Aaron, and a team of skilled camera operators. Together, they set new benchmarks for efficiency and customer service in Australia’s pipeline inspection industry. The team also own and operate sister companies Pipeline Testing and RT & DM Spring Plumbing, so when it comes to underground drainage, they know what they’re talking about.
Drain Cam has two dedicated inspection vans to ensure the CCTV crew are flexible and can respond to your job promptly.
At Drain Cam, our commitment to the quality of our work is what sets us apart. Carrying out CCTV pipe inspections is a highly technical task, one that requires training and finely-tuned systems and standards.
We are fully compliant with NATA’s Inspection Accreditation Program: ISO/IEC-17020, ensuring our systems and processes meet international standards through stringent internal and external auditing.
We work to the WSA05-2008 (Conduit Inspection Reporting Code of Australia) and our camera operators are certified in NWP331B (Inspection Conduit and Report on Condition & Features).
We’re continually developing our personnel, expertise and business systems to preserve our reputation for outstanding work and customer satisfaction. We set out our quality objectives in line with the ISO 9001:2015 framework and NATA ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standards.
We place the highest priority on a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, clients and members of the public. We empower our team to take responsibility for safety, through safety awareness and a positive safety culture.
We implement our OHS Management System in accordance with AS/NZS 4801 Standard, which is continually reviewed and improved as part of an ongoing effort to eliminate workplace illness and injury.
